Atatürk House: It was built in the end of the 19th century by one of the notables of Erzurum. In 1915-1916 was used as the German Consulate for 9 months. 12 March 1918 Erzurum was given to the service of the governorship, 3 July 1919 after the departure of the Governor Munir Akkaya Hüseyin Rauf and his friends stayed here for 52 days with M. Kemal Atatürk worked.

After the proclamation of the Republic, Atatürk came to our city with his wife Latife Hanım in 1924 due to an earthquake in Erzurum. On 30 September 1924, the key to the city and the deed of the house were presented to Atatürk.
