The Turkmen Mansion is one of the most beautiful examples of civil architecture in Southeast Anatolia. It is made of limestone (nahit) peculiar to Şanlıurfa. This is the biggest factor in keeping the mansion warm in winter and cool in summer. The Turkmen Mansion, which must be interpreted in the Southeast Anatolian Houses, is a symbol of the architectural tradition that has been going on for centuries. The effects of factors such as climate, belief, family structure and social relations are observed in the architecture of the mansion.
There are two types of rooms: vault covered and wooden ceilings.
